I read an article about this guy who saw this girl on the train in New York, and was too shy to say something to her before he got off the train; however, he followed up with creating a website, looking for the “girl of his dreams.” It worked, he found the girl, and apparently they are currently dating. Wow!
Now, here I am listening to Jill Scott’s song “Crown Royal” (hmm hmm), and I am thinking about this guy I met on the train in New York, lol. Here goes:
You: black jacket, blue jeans, glasses– reading some political book.
Me: blue jeans, locs,reading Tolstoy.
Us: On the L train in direction of Canarsie
Me: asked you about the book you were reading
You: told me it was really good, and wanted to know what I thought about Tolstoy
Me: told you he–Tolstoy surprised me, and I loved his writing, thought it was only read by pretentious intellectuals.
Our: eyes locked discussing books
You: eyes intense
Me: eyes smiling
We: went back to reading our books
Me: put some jazz on in my ears
You: nudged me goodbye when you got to your stop and smiled
Me: smiled bye– loved the way your elbow felt in my side
Six degrees of separation dictates that if this is sent to everyone you know, I will find the guy of my dreams, lol.
