I Celebrate Myself…

Oh, What A Feelin’

I was listening to the public radio, WPFW on Sunday night and the program featured music from Brasil. A beautiful selection by Bebel Gilberto came on entitled Aganju and I loved it. Gone were the worries of papers and tests, in that moment I felt a combination of emotions, all that were good: warm, sexy, feminine, relaxed, loved. Is smooth a feeling? I felt smooth. There, I claimed smooth as a feeling. Well, with that kind of music anything can become a feeling…

Music does that to you, you don’t even have to understand the words but if you are really in tuned, you understand the feeling.

I Have Learned So much from God That I can no longer Call Myself A Christian, a Hindu, a Muslim, A Buddhist, a Jew. The Truth has shared so much of Itself With me That I can no longer call myself A man, a woman, an angel, Or even pure Soul. Love has Befriended Hafiz so completely It has turned to ash And freed Me Of every concept and image My mind has ever known. ~ Hafiz ~
